while i wait for my friend for dinner last night, i decided to take a snapshot of what summer should look like. it's the first day in weeks that the sun came out.

since i am back to my old workplace, i have more choices on what to buy for lunch. before, it was either a salad or junk food like mcdonald's. anyway, here's what i had for lunch today.


el paso chicken from simply fresh: roasted chicken breast marinated in mexican spices, roasted red onion and peppers, leaf lettuce, plum tomatoes, pepper jack cheese and southwestern chipotle sauce. light ranch for the salad dressing

looks yummy huh. well it is. i am glad that instead of potato chips, they have a salad. yummy.

i don't want to do this anymore...........

ok, here's the deal. my whole legs was in pain due to the wii ea active i tried last saturday morning. but i still went to the gym this afternoon after work. i wasn't planning to do it but since i pay for the membership, i forced myself to go. i am in pain right now as i type this but hey, "no pain, no gain".

the day i returned from my vacation about two weeks ago, your granda gie proudly showed her orchid. well it's actually an orchid given to Mei about a year ago but was given to my mom because it was not flowering.

well, since granda gie has a "green thumb", i am not surprised that she managed to make it bloom. if only i can do the same thing........
