shopaholic...
yesterday, i decided to do something unusual. i went shopping for some clothes for work. it might sound odd that i say that but for me, it's very odd. first of all, i went shopping during the work week. most people who knows me that i don't shop during work week. second, i bought more that i would normally buy in let say, 6 months. anyway, so i went to three of my dependable store to shop. first stop, zara. saw this nice black/blue pants. tried it, like it, bought it. second stop, banana republic. bought 2 dawson pants (my fav work pants) and two prima t-shirt (black and baby blue). third and last stop, brooks brothers. bought 2 slim fit polo (baby blue and peach). was planning to stop at jcrew but i decided to head home. maybe next month. maybe....
oh yeah, one of these is going back...after trying it again at home, i realized the mirror on the store was just an illusion.

martha stewart i'm not...
my niece won this baking kit from her school on how to make and decorate itty bitty cupcakes. since it was easter sunday, i decided to call the inner martha stewart in me and try to bake a cake.
i don't bake on a daily basis. i only do it when i feel the urge to do it. don't get me wrong, i can bake alright. it just the more you do it, the better you get. and this basically is my flaw when it comes to baking. anyway, the baking part was not the hard part, it was the decorating. i tried to follow the recipe and instruction, but it was just a disaster. the butter icing was melting even before i put it on the cupcake....and it was way too sweet. but who cares, it was just a trial anyway. the cupcakes were delicious though. yummy.

randomization...
while i was heading home this early morning from a night out watching the semi-finals between duke and west virginia (basketball game) at a local bar with dave, i saw this asian guy wearing a black blazer, white shirt, black thin tie, black skinny pants (i think it is a jeans but not really sure), and a red with gold accent high top sneaker. i felt a little bit jealous. why? well i keep saying to myself if i can pull such an outfit, i would try and copy his attire. but i figured that i am too old for wearing gear and would look like a fool if i even try wearing one. i like wearing nice things but as per conversation with dave, it basically comes down to how I feel wearing such clothing.....and basically is it my style...
oh well, only in my dreams.
