sorry popeye, i prefer olive...
went grocery shopping earlier today and saw a pack of olives. i normally would prefer this on a dirty martini but making an antipasto will do.

north or south...
as i look at the counter (see right side of the page) reaches zero, my anxiety is starting to go up as well. it's not because i'm getting too excited about the trip...it's more of what is going on in asia right now....north korea in particular. :(

what else am i missing...
for the past few weeks, i've been busy making sure i got everything i need for my trip.
embark backpack - this will be my constant companion. my nephew originally got one two months ago and i told him i will get one. it has so many compartments that i don't think i'll use most of it. as long as i have my laptop for work and a few change clothes, i should be fine.
nikon coolpix camera - i prefer the smaller version but for the price i paid for this one, i don't mind. it's very light-weight and did i say it's very cheap.
i should be set..........for now.
on a different note, i got in the mail yesterday the official overseas ballot - yes, i am dual citizen. i applied for it two years ago. in any case, i'm not sure if i really want to even submit this. i know it's my duty to vote but it would be unfair to the general population of the country i don't reside. out of the 33 names listed, only 4-5 names ring a bell. even those names, i don't even know their track record as a politician.
