met perseus...

went to work earlier today - yes on a weekend.  since i had no plans afterwards, i decided to go to the metropolitan museum of art aka the met.  and since i have a membership, entrance is free.

deep blue sea...

for the past few weeks, i've been thinking of what happened to me during my recent trip back home.  it happened during one of the island hopping trips.  we were warned that one of the island's beach terrain drops drastically.  i was snorkeling with the rest of the group and did noticed the deep part.  i can't remember what exactly happened but i just got hit in the head by someone swimming next to me - not intentionally - and it caught me off guard that it knocked me and i swallowed a good amount of seawater.  realizing that i was in the deepest part coughing hysterically while trying to stay afloat, panicked kicked in. luckily one of the tour guide was there and noticed that i have this distress look, he handed me a life jacket.  i managed to swim back to the boat and enjoyed the rest of the islands....snorkeling.

a few days ago, i woke up drenched in sweat.  i realized i was having a nightmare.

i tried not think about the what if's.  i don't want to dwell on it.
