i won!!! I won!!!

last february, i posted a sad news regarding one of my favorite authors, dr. oliver sacks (click here for the post).  with an autobiography on the way (released last month), i was determined to get a copy. 

a month before the release of the book, his publisher decided to have a contest to giveaway 10 signed books with a limited poster and bookmarks. like all the lottery i enter, i wasn't expecting anything. 

lo and behold, i got this in the mail today.

postcard sunday...

it was a slow week for me this week...only 3 postcards received.  also, one of the postcards i sent, let's just say wrong timing of the card.  it was a drawing of a dog made out of bones.  the recipient emailed me that her pet just passed away.  i just replied back and offer my condolences...
