happy 100th birthday grand central terminal...

while waiting for a friend yesterday, i stopped by the grand central terminal.  can't imagine that this magnificent place was once considered for demolition.

    wow, i didn't know they once considered it for demolition. how i wish we had something even half as grand a terminal here in the philippines.

      yes it was. luckily, there were great supporters to keep the grand central terminal - one of them was jacqueline kennedy onassis.

    Beautiful place. There is a certain calmness and serenity that I liked when we were there, even if there are hundreds of people passing by. :D
