finally, i am staying in a hotel/resort where i can get wifi in my room, not the lobby.

it's been over a week since i arrived and let me tell you, taking a short vacation is not recommend.  it's a pain in the behind.  trying to fit all the plans in the time allowed is a nightmare.  to be honest, i still have jetlag.  all my plans since the day i arrived consist of going out at night and sleeping in the day.

in any case, within a week, my travel consist of:

New York City, US > Seoul, South Korea > Manila, Philippines (PH) > Puerto Princesa, Palawan, PH > El Nido, Palawan, PH > Puerto Princesa, Palawan, PH > Cebu, PH > Siargao, PH (i'm here, last night).

who wear short short...

while i was doing my weekly browsing of blogs (aka stalker LOL!!!), a recent post by mr. scott schuman of the thesatorialist.com caught my attention.  he posted how much he enjoyed the fit and the length of orlebar brown trunks.  other big name celebrities who's been seen wearing this trunk includes hugh jackman and ryan reynolds.  looking at the length and the style, i wanted to get one for myself.  BUT...do i need one? and do i want to spend 240 bucks for a short?  yes, you read it right, TWO-FORTY.  don't get me wrong, if you can afford one, be my guest.  to be honest, i can get one if i want to but for the price, is it really worth it?

i have a bunch of surf shorts in my closet that i can still use.  i think i have a few with the price tag still on it - never been used.  but i'm not in the mood to wear surf short the whole time this summer. and i'm getting old for surf shorts.  i was determined to buy something similar to the orlebar brown shorts.  luckily, one of the comments mentioned a similar style @ h&m (see pix below).  want to guess the price?  give up?  it's only 12 bucks.
